I had tried using that switch already, but it woul not give high resolution
bitmaps for some images, so it's not really satisfactory. Now I'm using a
different OS (Ubuntu) with a deb package of swftools 0.9.0 which works fine.
Was just trying to figure out what the problem is so that I would be able to
use another OS.

If the package works fine with all PDFs why not compiling it from source?

Appreciate any response.
