Hi, We are also converting pdfs to swf pages and loading them with another swf reader. However, when loading some swfs with lots of vector graphics in them it can take the player a couple of seconds to load the page causing the reader to be slow responding (up to 5 seconds of total halting of the reader). It's quite significant, so that's why I'm asking here. Also we are not just doing an addChild(swfpage). It is converted to a bitmap object after being retrieved because of the architechture of the program where the layers are all rendered into a bitmap...
Are there options other than -G to flatten the vectors or lessen the quality? If so, can you please enlighten us of how? We tried "-s poly2bitmap" but that didn't give good enough images. Thanks in advance. Regards, Tim
