Hello sir/medam, I am developing in ASP.NET / C# and have tried working with SWFTools and database as MySQL 5.0.I have converted pdf file to swf using "PDF2SWF" TOOL. While this time, I extract texts using "SWFStrings" Tools and store the texts page wise in database .But I have facing the problem because of the results have been inconsistent and improper if the pdf file have some foreign characters.. For Example, In pdf Actual Text is, ================ Club Phonera Club Phonera medlemstidning | December 2009 Phonera bäst igen! Sveriges mest nöjda kunder 2009 enligt SKI! Phonera 10 år 2010 Missa inte jubileumserbjudandet, värde 1000 kr! Stor jultävling! Vinn Samsung 40” Full HD LCD-TV! 2009 Sveriges mest nöjda kunder
But while extracting from "SWFStrings" Tools, I have got string after extracting like this,, ======================================================== Club Phonera Club Phonera medlemstidning | December 2009 Phonera b?ñst igen! Vinn Samsung 40" Full HD LCD-TV! 2009 Sveriges mest n??jda kunder While string store in database (with characterset = utf-8) , string stored like this, ==================================================== Club Phonera Club Phonera medlemstidning | December 2009 Phonera b?ñst igen! Vinn Samsung 40" Full HD LCD-TV! 2009 Sveriges mest n??jda kunder Some characters are not proper converting while extracting from pdf,as well as while storing into the database... I don't understand why this is happened and how to solve it. Can any one tell me what is the problem and give me reply solution as soon as possible.
