Sorry Peter. The words were right, the pasted command was not! Repeat your conversion, but do it *without* the -s poly2bitmap switch. As in,
pdf2swf.exe -p1-5 -T9 -f -t -s zoom=72 -s jpegquality=75 -s ignoredraworder -s disablelinks catalogue.pdf -o page_%%.swf I tried this under Windows Vista Basic and Linux. All appears fine. Why the use of '-s poly2bitmap' makes the text disappear, I do not know. Even the verbose switches, i.e. -vv, give no clue.
