Hi everybody, I am looking for a way of automatically converting values associated to different units of measurement in a standardized manner. I know that there are several units of measurement ontologies [1] and also that a great job is being done in building a “Quantity and Unit of Measure Ontology-based standard”. Does anybody know how to use an ontology of measurement units to make the conversion between different values (e.g. converting 1000 kilograms into grams), or if there is any previous work trying to solve this issue?
