Well, yes, they are part of the origin of the swing-generics project:

It was decided that we split these issues up in several smaller issues.

Are you working on these? 6303622 is listed as 'cause known' yet the
comments seem to suggest that a commit has been pushed. 6179357 is
simply 'accepted'.
