I've been looking into swing gui programming and noticed that the projects depending on swing haven't been updated in many years (miglayout release 4.2 is from 2011), and many of the tutorials are from 5 years ago. Is it because the project has been "completed"? Are there any new software projects (applications, libraries) that build on top of swing/awt?
