For our JTree we have a custom editor, an extension of
DefaultCellEditor.
The JTree has five levels. In a non-leaf node, after editing of its name
is over the handle icon vanishes. In addition, there appears a fresh set
of "phantom" childen ( identical to existing children) under the node
which has been edited.
There is nothing special in cutom editor except that some nodes are
made non-editable.
Pls throw light on this problem. I am sure any non-trivial JTree
implementors must have encountered this problem.
