Thom,
Sorting is a generic operation separate from Swing. Check out the
collections API
(<http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/guide/collections/reference.html>). If
you want your combo box to stay sorted as you add/remove items, you need to
create a custom combobox model that keeps its data in a sorted collection.
