Hm, pointing my browser at eos.dk I see a button labelled "Swing
List", clicking that, I get the Swing list archive with two frames,
in the right-hand frame it says:
To join this mailing list please write an e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To unsubscribe the list please write an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Have you tried the second option?
If you want to use a web interface, try:
http://eos.dk/mailman/listinfo/swing
(And yes, I had to cheat to find it - I went to google and searched
for swing and eos.dk and found the advanced-swing list's mailman page,
then from there guessed at the swing list's page).

I think this would be a very bad idea. Another list I'm an admin
on (advanced-servlets) moved to yahoo groups and I've been quite
unhappy with Yahoo.
Not to mention the fact that
a) they assigned some inane username to me because obviously
using my email address is too easy and
b) they *lost* my account data, apparently (trying to use their
password reset tool turns up no accounts registered for any of my email
addresses) and
c) mailing their user support service results in no response.
Hell, I'm not sure who runs this list, but if they'd like, I'll
let 'em run it off of my box at home (darksleep.com). It's only a
272Kbps connection, but that ought to be more than enough for the
amount of traffic here.
