JTable and mouseclick...

Sir/Madam i have a single column table. when i double click in a cell and press save button which is outside the table the entries in that cell are ignored but if a single click is used entry in that cell are acknowledged. how can i handle the double click so that cell's value are not taken as null. Harpreet
