Hi all, I am starting a new thread in an applet. In this thread i create an object of class 'InputStream' by using function 'getInputStream' of URLConnection which opens a new connection . Then i read from this inputstream on network. But problem comes when i try to close this stream using close method of this class. It hangs on line "Inputstream.close()". My requirement is that i have to create new inputstream everytime i start this thread in applet and have to close this stream when i stop that thread. On stopping of thread this inputstream doesn't get closed and when i again start the thread it hangs while reading from inputstream. Perhaps it tries to use the previous inputstream object. Any idea on how can i solve this problem?
