CTAG (Communications Test Automation Group)

You are cordially invited to attend the CTAG (Communications Test Automation Group)  Kickoff Reception on May 16th at 4:30pm. The meeting, refreshments and hors d'oeuvres are complimentary!

CTAG has been organized as a social and networking group for professionals in communications test automation. CTAG, originally founded in San Jose is now expanding to Boston and San Diego. CTAG is composed of representatives from more than 100 communications companies all interested in test automation

Please join us and network with your friends and associates at the Victoria Station Grill in Burlington!

If you are involved in the testing of routers, switches, pbx, optical switches, EMS/NMS, wireless, protocol test, software unit test, interface test - come,
have fun and join your peers at CTAG!

CTAG Mission:

CTAG's initial mission is to form working groups to focus on topics of immediate interest to the test automation industry. The working groups fall into four initial categories

1. Creation of Common and reusable Test Libraries
2. Creation of a common test equipment API  (supports topic 1 above)
3. Test case transportability (dependent on 1 and 2 above)
4. Standards in EMS/NMS test automation

Our Boston meeting will expand this focus to include breakout groups involved in specific areas of  interoperability testing.

A number of attendees at the last CTAG function in San Jose expressed an interest in technical training on vendor test equipment. As a result, Spirent Corporation has graciously donated a system training class on Smartbits for interested CTAG members. Sign-ups will be taken at the Burlington reception for this complimentary class.

Additionally, CTAG will function as a social and networking group for informal exchange of ideas and making new friends.

The reception requires registration. There is no cost to attend.
