I speak about SLB Blades in Cat6K.
Cu,

Pascal & Nico,
you guys are talking about the software (IOS based) or hardware SLB? I've
not seen any hardware SLB in the 72xx (yet?).

experiences..
Hello,
Yes we are actually playing with those tools ;)
Works really fine for smtp purpose ...
Router load is /dev/null :D For DDOS purpose there is a few features to
limit packets/connections and so on ..
IMO It's a perfect tool.
Cu,
Nico
Anyone of you guys have played with that?

Hi Cisco'ers,
I recently discovered the SLB feature available on the 72xx/65xx
platform.
We plan to use it to load balance our in and out SMTP traffic over
multiple
servers.
Anyone got good/bad experiences with SLB. dDoS ? Router load ? max
capacity
? Any experience with SLB is welcome.
Regards,
Pascal
