Depends completely on country. Nevertheless, even though in Switzerland
the downloading might be illegal, the having of content that you didn't
pay proper licensing/copyright fees for is still illegal... to put it
simple: if the cops run into your house with a court order there is no
way for you to prove that you got that data purely by 'downloading' or
that you bought a stack of the stuff from somebody...
