Hi Reza, WiMax requires a licences as specified by Nicolas. So far only one license is in operation; the company that owns that license is Callix and have to offer a service over that technology prior to September if they wish to keep it (otherwise it will be revoked). Swisscom had it revoked due to unability to launch service (they had some arguments with a group of anti-wireless technologies in Bern area). It seem that WiMax is being abandonated and the future is around 4G LTE...
