Dear list members The date 6.6.2012 will be a unique day in the history of the Internet. The Internet Society (ISOC) has initiated World IPv6 Launch (www.worldipv6launch.org) where Internet companies are invited to activate IPv6 services, whether they are network operators, website managers or home router manufacturers. Many international companies such as Akamai, Comcast, Google, Facebook, Bing and others are participating. There is activity in Switzerland too. Swisscom for instance has announced that they participate in World IPv6 Launch. They are currently testing their 6rd residential connections and plan to connect multiple 10'000s of users over IPv6 by June 6. Swiss IPv6 Council launches Survey for Service Providers Our members frequently ask for Service Providers that offer IPv6 services and what their roadmaps look like. This is the reason we decided to launch this survey and find out what your offerings and plans are. We would like to present the information on our website (www.swissipv6council.ch), at our next member event on May 14 in Zurich and in a pressrelease. We will not publish any personalized information without your prior consent. The survey will take about 5 to 10 minutes (10 questions), here's the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SR7NRTG Please fill out the survey by Friday April 27, so we have enough time for the analysis.
