I had further contact with them, but they don't seem to grasp the issue. They tell me that their contract with the list owners only allow them to disclose the source of their data to the actual recipients. Yes, I understand and I keep telling them to transparently name the source of the data in the emails they send to the recipients as this would comply with their contract. But they don't want to do that and don't (want to) understand that this leads to spam complaints because the recipient never had any contact with Rocket Mountain AG before.
