You may find on this page:
- telnet link to the RouteViewer
- Extended LookingGlass: It has hyperlinks to the whois tool on ASN and
IPs, it also shows the Holder of an AS is you move your mouse over the AS
(Internet Explorer only).
- Extended Whois: Choose the DB you want to query from a list or specify
it yourself. It wll generate hyperlinks on ASes, AS-SETs, nic-handles, URLs,
Email addresses and more...
- Prefix Search: Seeks the BGP table for all prefix possibilities for a
given IP. like if you search for 4.2.101.123, it will show you for EACH
RouteViewer neighbor AS something like 4.1.101.0/24 and 4.0.0.0/8... like
the LookingGlass, you may click on an ASN to whois it, and if you put your
move over an AS it will give you who's the holder of it (IE only).
- Search per netmask: Seeks the BGP table for all prefixes which matches
the given netmask (in bits format). Optionally you may search only in the
routes of ONE RouteViewer neighbor. Search for /32 and you will be
surprised!!!
"Prefix Search" and "Seach per netmask" and NOT working on the live BGP
table. They work on a copy in a MySQL DB which is updated every day around
5AM (CET).
