That reminds me... I've got a Trimble GPS receiver for a loooong time already. It came with a little box which has an ethernet port to serve as an ntp server. Unfortunatly that thing is running some sort of DOS or CP/M. I couldn't convince myself that it would be a good idea to really put that onto the Internet. So I decided to take a FreeBSD server and make that the ntp server. Only that I have to solder an adapter to the trimble cable... Thats where I stranded some time ago. I've got the pinout. So I really need to go to Pusterla and buy the DB25 plug. Will do that somewhen next week.
