Hi all Does anyone know what happened to ripe?
Again I get this message: %ERROR:208: connection refused % % Sorry, your connection is refused. % Too many simultaneous connections from your host. I never had any simultaneous connections. It just can happen that I do about 20 lookups a day while processing spammails. And even a second IP from my range got blocke after doing 5 requests. Last time ripe blocked me and I contacte them, they just told me that I run an application doint ripe lookups that they didn't approve. I then told them that I do not run any type of application and that they should tell me how many lookups cam be done until being consideres as running an application. The next reply I got was, that my IP apparently never was blocked... and that if I got such a message it must have been some temporary problem. >From that time on it worked again until now.
