Is it still necessary to keep mails in the queue for one week nowadays?
User behaviour has changed. Users expect emails to be delivered almost
instantaneously or with very little delay. If a bounce is received one
week after only, the mail that caused it is already forgotten if it
wasn't important. And if it was important, they will probably already
have called techsupport. On the other hand, the connectivity and
availability of systems has greatly improved, so why should one keep
mails in the queue for one week?
