Oliver Cablecom wants to gain more unhappy customers complaining at their helpdesk - this is our only suggestion to approach the problem.
Even if one or the other here does not like to hear that: This is the way to educate ISPs. Throttling and volume control on the official SMTP outbound relays are a must - enforced redirection of port 25 to these systems too. -Kurt. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Oliver Hitz Sent: Wednesday, April 21, 2004 8:30 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [swinog] cablecom on blacklist... They are at least still listed in spamcop.net. What do other ISPs who use RBLs such as spamcop.net do in such cases? It is certainly an easy thing to let the Cablecom servers bypass the RBL checks, but is this really the way to go? Sounds like you don't need to bother with minor annoyances such as blacklists if you are big enough...
