Problem: ASUS Motherboards P4S8X, P4S533-E, P4S533-VM, P4S333-VM, more (I wasnt able to get a complete list, but there are probably some more..)
When you use the default WinXP SiS driver you will ALWAYS obtain the same mac address and that is the reason of those repeating syslog messages: %UBR7200-3-BADARPREPLY% Interface CableX/0Y, ARP reply from invalid source. Expected SID=<sid>, Actual SID=<sid> ... Solution: Use the ASUS driver, not the WinXP one and you will get the correct mac address!!
