There will be some juggling with these two AS going on in the next few days
and weeks.
What is Internet Pipeline today on AS8271 will become AS16221 and what is
AS16221 today (Deltapoint, but operated by INTO Internet Online at the
moment) will become Internet Pipeline. Internet Pipeline will manage the
AS16221 and the network to it. INTO will then simply be routed through it.
And AS8271 will stay as it is but less the Pipeline Prefixes (one /19).
AS8271 and AS16221 will both stay at their respective TIX IP addresses
(194.42.48.2, 194.42.48.59) and fully continue to peer with all ISPs.
This is how it looks in ASCII art:
ch.ibs 62.48/19 ----------------------------> AS8271
195.134.128/19 --------\
\ (only IP block)
\
ch.pipeline 0/0 ------------------+----------> new merged Pipeline, AS16221
/
/ (merge LIR)
ch.deltapoint 217.118.192/20 --/
(used by INTO Internet Online too)
After this has been completed there will AS8271 which is me (Andre) and
AS16221 which is the combined Internet Pipeline. All of Deltapoint's ISP
stuff goes into Pipeline and INTO will be routed entirely through Pipeline
without any own AS for the time being.
