Opinions? How do I get this working with qmail? :)
To summarize greylisting: For trusted hosts, the mailserver will operate normally. For untrusted hosts, the mailserver will _temporarily reject_ the mail. Every standards compliant MTA will just put the mail back in his queue and retry after a reasonable amount of time. Rather than failing "hard" and completely rejecting a mail, the only thing that could happen is that the delivery gets delayed.
A checksum of the mail is created and if the same mail gets retransmitted after some time, it will be accepted. Virus- and spam-mails won't be retransmitted, so they don't get through.
