-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

The domain registry part of SWITCH has recently started to accept IPv6
name server addresses in addition to IPv4 ones. Simply register IPv6
addresses under your nameserver(s) in the registry Web interface, and
IPv6 glue - where it is necessary - will magically appear in the CH
(or LI) zone at the next zone file update.

The "delegation check" that is performed whenever you modify a
domain's delegation will also perform checks over IPv6 now, when a
nameserver has an IPv6 address.

In addition, nameservers with *ONLY* IPv6 addresses (AAAA records) are
not permitted at the moment, for operational concerns. So you cannot
have separate nameserver names for IPv6-only nameservers, but you
should add IPv6 addresses to existing (with IPv4 addresses) nameserver
names. If you think this is overly restrictive, please discuss this
with me or on this list.

Anyway, I'd be glad to hear from anybody who tries this, especially if
you encounter problems. (but also if you find that it just works :-)
