Some good points there; as some have mused, as our sound platforms
have moved more digital, their ability to avoid deterioration has
declined.

I'm guessing the CD-R's in question are those we burn at home, not the
ones used for recorded music that you'd buy at Tower Records or Sam
Goody's.
