It's probably best for you to call the hotel directly -- 610-834-8300 -- and ask for Donna. I'm guessing she's the reservations manager. Tell her you want to stay the "shoulder" dates -- what they call the dates before & after the event -- and they will honor the Winter SWL Fest rate. Donna's probably a good contact at this point if you want a smoking room or a room with two double beds; most of the rooms in the Fest block are singles, as it's a suite hotel.
