Richard/Eric,

I can bring a Flex 1500 (the small xcvr) which works on DRM.
I should have necessary cables/adapters for connecting to
most anything. On DRM, its decoded output is laptop external
speaker stereo jack (or can use internal speakers but are kinda
crappy). I have one of these coding technology world travellers,
but I am sure everyone has seen it in action.

With a wire, should be able to decode RCI, at least. :-)

Eric, sounds great!!

I'll forward your note to Kim Elliott. I am not sure how much DRM we
will have. Our antenna setup will be different this year.

From what I understand, the room where we'll be setting up exhibits
has a T1-grade connection, but having a backup access point would be
helpful.

We have Mark Phillips' mixer available (thanks Mark!) that I figured
out how to use last year, but one can never have too many of those.

Hopefully travel will be easier by March. Today would not be a fun
day for checking in to the hotel, at least around here in Allentown.

Thanks for your support!

Hello,

Since this is a new hotel, I do not know what changes to the setup will be. I stayed at a similar suite hotel in Dayton and it was great.

I plan on bringing some fruit juices as usual.

I am bringing some radios. :) My Winradio and DRM setup. I do not know if there will be a DRM table this year, but I am willing to help out or maybe organize one. I will also bring my USRP (Software Radio Hardware) and SBS-1eR to DX some ADS-B and capture some UAT transmissions to develop a receiver. Maybe next year I will have enough material for a talk.

I can bring a computer setup for the Digital Radio table.

I am in the process of changing from Verizon EVDO to Clear 4G. I am bringing my Clearpoint Router again so I can provide backup for any Internet Radios. The Coverage map says Clear 4G is available in the hotel area and it is faster than EVDO. I still have both as I am still testing the Clear 4G.

I also have a Mackie mixer and misc audio stuff.
