Nice touch by the hotel. I received an e-mail from them today confirming my reservation. It includes a map to the hotel as well as a weather forecast for the time period we will be there!

There are two ground-level signs for the Doubletree -- one on the NE corner of Hickory Road and Germantown Pike, and one on the NW corner of Hickory Road and Fountain Road, but these are quite easy to miss in the thicket of ramps, lanes, signals, and signs in the vicinity. Coming up from the Turnpike or from I-476, if you miss the right turn at Hickory Road, take the next ramp to the right -- called "Atrium Way" -- that will also lead you to the hotel entrance. If you miss both of these, go the second signal after that -- Walton Road -- and turn right. Turn right again at the next signal -- Fountain Road -- there's a ground level sign there too -- and follow it back to the hotel. If you're flying in and not renting, Tropiano Transportation will get you to the hotel the quickest. Philadelphia's mass transit agency -- SEPTA -- will get you within a block or two of the hotel, but will require a total travel time of 90 to 120 minutes to make the necessary train & bus connections. SEPTA's schedules are embedded in Google Maps, so you can get door-to -door transit instructions (train numbers, stops, bus numbers, times) there -- very easy to navigate.
