So thanks to those scare mongers at the oil exchange the price of petrol
has jumped up 20 Cents here in NJ over the past few days. Apparently
it's all to do with the civil unrest in the Middle East and Libya (from
whence America does NOT buy oil!).
At the rate it's going it'll be almost $4 by next weekend making my trip
a very expensive one.
So I'm forced to make a few hard choices;
1) abandon the trip (like you'll notice I'm not there right?)
2) ride share with someone and split the fuel cost (no you can't play
with my radio!)
3) cut back on my raffle ticket investment
4) cut back on my beer consumption
5) sell more D-STAR modem boards
5) sell more AIS modem boards (APRS for ships - hoping to have them back
from the PCB house by the Fest for demo - attention Scum!!)
I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking along these lines.
