John,

I don't think "you know who" ever took advantage of Estelle's Moscow golf
offer.  That leads me to a whole category of potential prizes which the
recipients will never want to take advantage of.  For example, the prize could
be to pay 10% of the cost of a ride into outer space of Mr. Branson's Virgin
Galactic spacecraft.  There is also somebody offering one way trips to Mars for
a tidy sum.  How many would execute on such prizes?

On a more serious note, I believe Sheldon Harvey suggested in a presentation at
a past Fest that those of us who are close to transitioning to our ultimate DX
target should consider passing on our accumulated stuff to the next generation
of radio active folks before our heirs throw it in the garbage.  Why not
solicit prizes from the old timers who no longer use the stuff.  I will lead
the deluge by offering a Sony AN-LP1 active shortwave antenna if you promise to
give it away to a raffle winner.  I also have a 2010 WRTH I will donate.

I will not be attending the Fest this year, so just let me know where to mail
the stuff.
