Okay then. So individual guests can bring as much of their own beverages, snacks, etc into the Hospitality Room--but the Fest Organizers cannot "serve" alcohol and snacks/food to attendees. Seems like semantics to me.

We're a creative and generous bunch. Perhaps some of us "guests" can find a way to keep the Hospitality Room filled with soda/beers/snacks/food to satisfy ourselves--independent of NASWA/SWLfest. Suppose some "guests" bring their own *personal* kegs of beer, cases of soda, coolers w/ice, large bowls, paper plates, and bags of pretzels & chips--and freely share them with their fellow guests?

Many of us are familiar with obtaining usable shortwave broadcast signals in spite of them being "jammed". We just need to apply our existing skills for our mutual enjoyment of the hospitality room which is being "jammed" by hotel management. Let the QRM filtering begin!

Hi Ed -

The only thing we can't do is "serve" our own alcohol as part of the
Fest. I know of no restrictions regarding individual guests.
