I was really sorry to hear about Ben. He was a very special guy. I met him at the first fest I attended (#3) and always looked forward to seeing him each year. Having known him from those days, it was painful to see the Alzheimer's rob him of his personality. The spirit remained, but it was a shadow of what it was. Hope he’s at peace.

Ben was a regular for many years at the SWL fest and an avid receiver collector. If you met Ben at the fest you would surely remember him. Not only an excellent engineer but a kind hearted gentleman and great story teller.
