Radio Australia was one of the first stations I listened c.1952 to using my first radio, a 1943 Hallicrafters S-38. When I started driving in the late 1950s, I listened to RA in the car using a Gonset 3-30 Mc converter tied into the car radio. Always a booming signal on 9580 while driving to school. Times, they are changing. đ
