I apologize for any confusion that has cropped up on this. I checked my original e-mails on the topic, and I don't think I spelled out the procedures explicitly enough here.
Here's what to remember -- use the Group Code "NAS". There's a place for that on the hotel's reservation site, and will get you the proper rate if you phone the hotel. If you visit the website (shown below), look for "Special Rate Codes" on the left, then enter the Group Code mentioned above. The hotel does NOT have the rate listed under "SWL Fest" or anything similar. Note that even if you phone the hotel directly, when you ask to make a reservation you are being forwarded to the central reservation call center, which is why that "NAS" code is so important. When the hotel set up the room block, they used the code "NAS" from the NASWA name, and it didn't dawn on me that this would be a problem. Do hurry -- our special rate formally expires February 1st at 5 PM ET -- that's 6 days away as I type this.
