Hi Dennis,

The audio of the approximately one hundred HOPE Talks and Panels of 2018 <http://hope.net/schedule.html>can be downloaded free from here. There's several radio-related talks that would interest many SWLfesters. HOPE videos from 2018 aren't free yet, but can be downloaded for a small fee from <https://store.2600.com/collections/hope-downloads/>here and might be free in the future.

We don't record the dozens of Workshops held at HOPE due to the lack of AV resources to do all that (recording three simultaneous speaker tracks for three long days is challenging enough.) So unfortunately Amanda's workshop was not recorded. The concert performance Amanda did at HOPE was recorded, and we're working on getting releases from all the performers before putting that online for free (probably on YouTube.)

Hey,

Is Amanda's HOPE presentation online? I haven't seen any HOPE presentations online from this year's conference so far amd I'd love to see hers.

An abbreviated version of the article was published online today <https://spectrum.ieee.org/geek-life/profiles/this-artist-made-a-radio-out-of-a-kitchen-sink>https://spectrum.ieee.org/geek-life/profiles/this-artist-made-a-radio-out-of-a-kitchen-sink

A more extensive article with more content and images will be published in the upcoming print edition of IEEE Spectrum. Some SWLfesters probably get it. The article describes her documentary film project at RCI Sackville, and some of her other work. It's worth reading. At the SWLfest, Amanda was talked into presenting at <http://hope.net/schedule.html>HOPE (Hackers On Planet Earth) in July, where she performed and held a workshop (several SWLfesters presented at HOPE this year.) The editor of IEEE Spectrum attended HOPE and was intrigued enough by Amanda's workshop to want to publish an article about her work. So this all stems from the SWLfest, where good things happen!
