Yes, saw the link to the story posted in Reddit r/shortwave the day it
appeared. Nice to see SW lives.

Years ago Kim Elliott promoted listening on shortwave to the New Year
coming in around the world, and Vanuatu was the first target. For a few
years I listened; Vanuatu was always difficult to hear in NJ even with the
JRC receivers.
