Fest goers for many years will remember WNPV, the closest *legal* emitter to
Kulpsville. The station ran 2.5 kw days with two antenna and 500 watts night
with three.   The station has a cross-service translator W253CA (250 watts).
The AM has been on-off the air as the underlying property is going to be
developed A religious group stepped in and accepted the licenses as a donation.
Paperwork now  has been filed to keep WNPV alive with just  one tower with 250
watts day / 23 watts night... Such is the state of AM radio today  - the real
estate is more valuable than the signal.Tracy Wood
