Hi, everyone. Only a little over a week away now. I just wanted to let
everyone know that I will be setting up the Radio HF booth again at this year's
Winterfest. In addition to all the books (Passports, WRTH, Klingenfuss, etc.),
and accessories. I will good stock on hand of the following radios: Eton E-5,
E-10 and G-4000A; Sangean ATS-909, Kaito 1102 & 1103, Icom IC-R5 and IC-R-20.
Note that the R-5s and R-20s are going to be Canadian versions of these models.
If one were to know such things, you'll understand what that means.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again real soon!
Alan Roberts and I should be arriving late Wednesday afternoon and we are
really excited to have a first-time Winterfest visitor with us. Mickey
Delmage, one of our CIDX Vice Presidents, from Sherwood Park (Edmonton),
Alberta, is meeting up with us here in Montreal and making the trip to
Kulpsville with us.
We are always happy to see so many CIDX members at Winterfest. 2007 is
CIDX's 45th anniversary. To mark the occasion, and to give Mickey a chance,
for the first time, to meet so many of our U.S. CIDX members, we're holding a
special Thursday evening get-together at 8 PM in the exhibition hall. We hope
to gather together all CIDX members, and anyone else who wants to sit in, to
learn a little about the past, present and future of the Canadian International
DX Club. It should be fun.
Take care, everyone. Safe travelling and we'll see everyone next week.
