For my own education, can someone clarify the SWORD2 conversation
between client & server?

As I understand it, it goes something like this:

** conversation one **
Client: Hello server, I'd like to transfer something, what are my
options for locations?

Server: Hello client. I need you to identify yourself before you can
access any sensitive information.

C: OK - my authentication credentials are blah.

S: Thank you. You can deposit into the following places [list of
"collections", along with a set of information on each one]

C: Excellent. Please put the included stuff into location 123

S: Thank you. I've done that, and here's some details about the deposit
for future reference

** conversation two **
Client: Hello server, I'd like to [view|modify] record xyz

Server: Hello client. I need you to identify yourself before I can do that.

C: OK - my authentication credentials are blah.

S: Thank you. Here is the record /or/ I have updated the record. Here's
some details about the record for future reference

[optionally]
C: Hello server, I'd like to [view|modify] record xyz some more
S: Thank you. Here is the record /or/ I have updated the record. Here's
some details about the record for future reference
... and repeat as needed

Is that about right?
