I've found several texts in Russian which seemingly claim to be free (Ancient Greek->Russian, Hebrew<->Russian, and less interesting Bible dictionaries and something I don't remember).
These are in format of the program Lingvo (www.lingvo.ru) for Windows, which is Russian<->[whatever] dictionary. There are also the modules (search for "user dictionaries" in Russian, if you know Russian). I looked in the file format. It seems to be compressed by a proprietary (seemingly simple) compression algorithm. If I will find time I can try to decipher the file format (it is lawful in Russia in my situation). I don't have Lingvo. Somebody having it may try to convert the dictionaries to an other file format by he program. (However most probably it does not support saving dictionaries.) I can guide such the man to the URL in this Russian language site. The Lingvo program itself probably has both Russian and English UI, I'm not sure. I contacted the author (also Russian) of the dictionaries asking among other about permissions and about files in an other format, but no reply. -- Victor Porton ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel
