Inquiring (newbie) minds want to know: * Is Twike being used by some/most Sword developers? Any?
Mea cupla ... I'm trying to get up to speed with Sword in order to resurrect ActiveDiatheke. I've got a lot of questions ... reflecting vast ignorance. (I'm told I'm "trainable" :-) Hopefully, someone will let me know if I'm being a pest, or asking questions that an industrious/competent/consciencious developer would track down on their own. (ouch) I took a look at Twiki, which looked very promising. Before tackling yet another learning curve, I wanted to get an idea if Twiki was actually being used. It appears to be a potentially great colloborative tool, but I found very few current entries. There were daily statistics, but otherwise I only encountered a handful of entries later than Mar, 2003. (The entry from Troy on July-2003 related to Windows-Getting-Started was *VERY* helpful) This may reflect a newbie not knowing what he is doing, but it appeared that Twiki had quite a few entries during 2002, but that dwindled to near zero by mid-2003? Is that more or less correct? If so, is the sword-devel list the primary source of asking and responding to questions? What is the residual purpose of Twiki, if any? Are there off-line tools to simplify use of the list and/or list-archive? _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel
