I've uploaded a q/d prototype EasyEnglishSetup.exe, built with the nsis-198 freeware installer. It bundles the 10 files that were in the self-extracting ee230.zip. It increased in size from 577kb to about 630kb, reflecting nsis overhead. It has provisions for:

* choice of installation directory (default C:\Program Files\EasyEnglish)
* stub for license and readme (if needed)
* uninstall
* desktop icon and Start Menu entry (if needed)
* launches readme230.doc upon completion of installation

I would think a VBA wizard could tweak readme230.doc with something like an on-load macro, and the setup would be pretty much done. My impression is that vba can distinquish between Word-97, Word-2000, Word-XP, and proceed accordingly.

BTW, is there a "point of contact" for more information? Someone with Wycliffe? Another list e-mail had a name, but no e-mail address. I had a question whether the tedious (and error-prone) option setup was a one-time task, or had to be done for every document that was processed with EasyEnglish. I think there was also a minor error in one filename.
