Good day,

I was talking to Steve about this yesterday. I think the problem is that Thai words don't have spaces as word breaks. The windows rtf control has some smarts to detect Thai word breaks. I think that other programs like bibletime use an html display control. These don't have the Thai smarts. I'm planning to do a new module with Unicode word break markers to see if it works for Steve and on Bibletime.

I'll forward this to our developers' list and see if they have any ideas. Thanks for taking the time to try out the PocketPC app and report back the good, and not so good, news!

many thanks indeed. I have got it all working with multiple versions including the Thai (which is enrypted - under a ztext directory)

Only problem is the word wrap - i.e. many lines of Thai text extend beyond the width of the screen so have to drag the bottom bar to see the rest of the text on most lines. This is just on lines where there is no space in the middle of the line (the words of Thai all run together without spaces before or after)

There is no such problem on the PC platform even when making the text screen smaller.

Any suggestions?
Thanks again,
Steve Taylor
