Hello Tobias, We are starting an initiative with OSIS (www.bibletechnologies.net) in order to prepare an OSIS-based schema for encoding the Quran, both for the original Arabic and also translations. We are in the early stages but God willing we hope to have a fruitful result in the near future. I also personally think as you do that having a Sword module for the Quran would be useful to students of the Bible and the Quran. My understanding is that it shouldn't be too hard to create a Sword module from an OSIS file. I am not familiar with the technical aspects of a Sword module though. I hope that Crosswire.org would consider preparing a Sword module based on the OSIS Quran encoding project. I know that several Crosswire members such as Troy Griffiths and Chris Little are very involved in OSIS as well and they could help bridge this OSIS Quran encoding project and Sword.
Your help in this area would also be very appreciated Tobias. Let us know if you are interested in volunteering for this project.
