Oops, didn't mean to sell it short, but I'm glad that feature is in. > No ability to hide letter decorations (e.g. cantillation, vowel > points, accents) Hiding cantillation would be good. Hiding vowel points and Greek accents are largely just included because some people have poor font support and it can aid in/simplify searching. > No ability to transliterate. After I finish about 3 module releases, I'll take a break from Sword and get our transliterators into shape for submission to Unicode. Transliterators are no longer an ICU-specific thing. They're now part of CLDR, which is part of Unicode. Once our data is more prevalent, I hope that will encourage all of the frontend developers to incorporate ICU support, since they will be able to use the stock ICU that ships with most distros. > I'm not aware of any others. For me, personally, that makes BD incompatible with my workflow. Anyway, I am happy that BD is there, and excited to see it continue to progress. --Chris _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list: [email protected] http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page
