Hello Does anybody already planned to have a sword frontend running on this eBook?
http://www.irextechnologies.com/products It's running Linux, with X11 (4bpp) and GTK, root access is available for developers and third party software can be developped on it, it's using a Wacom interface (and not just 3 or 4 buttons). You can add plenty of disk-space (MMC-cards up to 1Gb and CF-cards up to 8Gb). But, it's expensive, running Linux 2.4, according to http://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1238478 power management is bad (and WiFi too for "2nd edition"). Do you think front ends could run easily on it? I see that greylevel display and very high dpi can be a problem for a vanillia gnomesword. -- Sébastien Koechlin _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list: [email protected] http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page
