Much of my motivation for making importing easier was the availability of a large number of ThML documents at CCEL. The license (previously) allowed personal use only, no redistribution which made it a good resource for easy import. However, I just realized that CCEL now charges $2.95 for each download of ThML. This reduces the utility of import built into the frontends by quite a bit (in my opinion).
